TEMPO
Calibre 01. Hand-wound. Three hundred and twelve parts, set by hand.
Scroll to open itTime, kept by hand.
No battery and no quartz. A coiled spring, a train of wheels and a balance that swings back and forth eight times a second. The hands you see are telling the real time, right now.
Lift the dial.
Under the lacquered dial sits the movement: gilded wheels, rhodium bridges with Geneva stripes, blued screws and red synthetic rubies at every pivot.
The heartbeat.
The balance wheel swings at 4 Hz. Each swing lets the escape wheel advance by one tooth, and that tick is what you hear when you hold it to your ear.
Seventy-two hours.
Wind the crown thirty turns and the mainspring in the barrel stores three days of energy. Take it off on Friday, and it's still running on Monday.

The collection.
01 / 04Every TEMPO is built from first screw to last by one watchmaker, at one bench, over six weeks. When the caseback closes, they engrave their initials inside it, where only the next watchmaker will ever read them.

Reservations are free. We write when your watch is on the bench, usually eight to ten months from now, and you choose the strap then.
